Qualifications:
- Active OT or COTA license in the state of Michigan
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work closely with teachers, administrators, and families
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans addressing sensory-motor, fine motor, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and educational goals
- Document students’ progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training and resources to staff and families to reinforce therapy goals in the classroom and at home
- Travel between school locations as required
This position is scheduled for 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving a diverse K-12 population.
