Located in the vibrant area near Tubac, AZ, this contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT who finds fulfillment in both direct intervention and collaborative consulting within an educational setting.
Leverage your expertise by providing 60 direct services and 50 consulting sessions, helping to develop functional, academic, and life skills in young learners. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and families to create supportive environments that foster participation and independence.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license for the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to consult effectively with staff and parents
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, student-centered environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality direct OT services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Consult with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom strategies
- Collaborate with families to support carryover of skills at home
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
