Key Qualifications:
- Current license or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in Arizona (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially with students with cognitive and adaptive needs
- Ability to provide effective supervision and mentorship to COTAs
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and independence for every student
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services to students in both elementary and high school settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse learning and adaptive abilities
- Supervise and support a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, families, and support staff
- Maintain timely and thorough records per policy and regulation
