Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active OT, COTA, or OTA license valid in Arizona
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and IEP process
- Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care
- Ability to work onsite in-person as required
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting educational goals and functional skills
- Conduct assessments and help develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers and special education teams to address students’ diverse needs
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and communicate with families and staff
- Adapt interventions to meet unique needs of each student, fostering independence and participation
- Provide recommendations and resources to parents and school staff
