Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and any required certifications
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
- Create engaging, goal-focused activities aimed at building students’ functional abilities
- Track student progress, prepare thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt interventions to align with each school’s unique environment and culture
