Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Valid OT license for Michigan
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload independently
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions tailored for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Please note: This position is not open to COTA applicants, as on-site supervision cannot be offered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ OT needs
- Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to support each student’s success
- Provide direct therapy services, adaptive strategies, and accommodations
- Document student progress, maintain compliance, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Manage a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours onsite
This role starts as soon as possible and runs through June 18, 2027, offering the chance to build meaningful relationships with both staff and students.
