This full-time, contract position allows you to contribute across 1-2 school sites in a dynamic district environment. You’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals and enjoy a varied caseload working with both elementary and secondary students (caseload size: 50–55). The school year runs from Fall 2025 through June 2026, offering the chance to build relationships and implement hands-on therapies.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
- Experience with traditional school-based OT duties, including direct therapy, assessments, and evaluations.
- Ability to manage a caseload comprised of a mix of elementary and secondary students.
- Flexibility to work at more than one location within the district as needed.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working in both independent and team settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse population of students.
- Complete thorough assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Document therapy sessions, track student progress, and prepare necessary reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff and families.
- Travel to assigned schools within the district, providing both direct and indirect OT services.
