School Occupational Therapist - Wasilla, Alaska

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license for the state of Alaska
- TYPE C Certification required
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with student caseload management and documentation
- Preference given to candidates with Alaska certification
- Ability to work onsite and provide services in person only
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational participation and independence
- Manage approximately 1000 minutes of direct student contact each week
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and track student progress with accuracy
- Empower students by adapting activities and environments to promote skills development
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices in school-based OT
