What we’re seeking:
- Active certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Experience in schools or pediatric settings; special education experience is a plus
- Dedication to fostering student independence and participation
- Flexibility to travel between school buildings within the district as needed
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators and families
As an Occupational Therapist in this early childhood setting, you will:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as indicated in their IEPs
- Assess and document students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living needs
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement strategies that promote student growth
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to help create supportive, accessible classroom environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
- Travel between district buildings if services are required at different locations
