Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active OT license for the state of Wisconsin
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is highly valued
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Ability to create and adapt individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and documentation processes
Responsibilities:
- Conduct OT assessments and develop customized intervention plans for students
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and small group settings
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other specialists
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and IEP-related information in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Offer recommendations for classroom modifications, assistive technology, and sensory strategies
- Educate and support families and school staff on strategies to enhance student participation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school-based team discussions
