School Occupational Therapist | Wenatchee, Washington
Step into a rewarding and impactful opportunity working with young learners as an Occupational Therapist in the Wenatchee, WA area. This full-time, contract role begins immediately and extends through the summer and the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll provide essential early intervention services for children ages birth to 3, helping set the foundation for their growth and success.
As part of a supportive team, you'll travel between multiple school sites each week, guiding and assisting students with diverse therapeutic needs. The flexibility to interview via Zoom or in-person makes it easy to connect and learn more about this role’s fit for you. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will also be considered for this position, and there’s potential to structure this opportunity as two part-time roles for the right candidates.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Washington
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school or early intervention settings
- Knowledge of teletherapy and in-person OT delivery models
- Comfort and flexibility traveling between school locations during the work week
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to children ages 0-3 as part of an early intervention program
- Develop and support individualized treatment plans in coordination with families and educational staff
- Document progress, maintain student records, and participate in team meetings
- Utilize both teletherapy and onsite approaches as appropriate
- Adapt strategies to meet the needs of a variety of learners
