This position focuses on early intervention occupational therapy, with services extending from summer start through the 2026-2027 school year. The district is flexible and open to two part-time OTs, and COTAs may be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), eligible for practice in Washington State
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention (birth to 3 years)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- For COTAs: Must meet Washington State licensure requirements; applicants with relevant school or pediatric background are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and traveling between school sites as needed
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers on an early intervention caseload
- Support the development of fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills in alignment with individual education plans (IEP/IFSP)
- Travel to various educational sites in the area to provide in-person or teletherapy services as assigned
- Engage caregivers and families in strategies that enhance each child’s progress
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for all students served
This contract offers full-time hours—8 hours per day, Monday through Friday—with immediate start and consistency through multiple school years. Flexible interview options are available via Zoom or on-site.
