Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in South Carolina (SC OT license required)
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45 students from kindergarten through 8th grade
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
- Split time and travel between two school locations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
