Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Solid clinical background in fine motor and gross motor skill development
- Proficiency in direct therapy, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with teletherapy and in-person service delivery
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and a student-centered approach
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized OT programs for elementary or high school students
- Address fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support academic success
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide assessments, and contribute to interdisciplinary team planning
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports as required
- Engage in consultation with teachers and parents regarding accommodations and classroom modifications
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care
