Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Washington State Occupational Therapy license (Department of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA certification with Occupational Therapy endorsement
- Experience supporting school-age children or adolescents, ideally across multiple grade levels
- Flexibility and passion for working with individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for teaming with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based OT interventions for students in elementary through high school
- Evaluate student needs, create tailored treatment plans, and monitor progress to help each child achieve their goals
- Support the educational team with practical classroom modifications and strategies for successful student participation
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings; collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports every student’s success
