Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Ability to assess and develop both fine and gross motor skills in students
- Expertise in designing and implementing OT interventions for children and adolescents
- Comfort with teletherapy and digital therapy tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Capable of collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and individualized therapy sessions to students in either elementary or high school
- Address a range of motor skill challenges—fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and self-care
- Adapt and provide supportive interventions in both classroom and virtual settings
- Maintain organized records and clear documentation for student progress
- Serve as a valued resource for school staff and families to enhance academic participation for each student
