This full-time opportunity offers the chance to provide essential OT services across various school sites in the Yreka area, working with diverse student populations and collaborating closely with educational staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license through the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CCA OT License required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred, including evaluation and implementation of IEP-related therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to serve students with a wide range of abilities and needs
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students per their IEPs and 504 Plans
- Assess students to determine functional outcomes and therapy goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs that support access to the curriculum
- Consult with educational staff regarding classroom modifications, equipment, and strategies to enhance student participation
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in team meetings as required
- Travel between multiple school sites as needed within the district
This contract spans the full academic year, beginning in August 2026 and ending in June 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
