Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida COTA license required
- Previous school-based COTA experience strongly preferred
- Ability to organize your schedule and travel to assigned locations within Hendry County
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality therapy services to children and adolescents
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions as directed by supervising OTs
- Support students’ access to educational environments and participation in classroom activities
- Conduct treatment sessions individually or in small groups
- Document interventions and student progress in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities
