Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida COTA license
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work comfortably across K-12 grade levels
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools throughout the county
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy support to students, implementing educational plans under the supervision of an OTR/L
- Assist in assessments and help develop individualized intervention goals and strategies
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to maximize student participation in learning and daily activities
- Document services provided and progress according to district policies and professional guidelines
- Adapt to varying school environments, building positive relationships with multiple teams and student groups
