Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active Florida COTA license required
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to confidently travel between sites within Hendry County
- Skilled at collaborating with educators, therapists, and families
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K–12 students as directed by an Occupational Therapist
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct activities to improve fine motor, sensory-processing, and daily living skills
- Document student progress and communicate regularly with supervising therapists and school staff
- Adapt to varying school cultures and needs, maintaining flexibility in daily routines
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
