Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Proven school-based experience working with diverse student populations
- Strong understanding of school therapy practices and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple school sites, supporting various age groups
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision and guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and staff to promote student success and inclusion within the school environment
- Collect data and document student progress efficiently and accurately
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and family consultations as needed
