School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Pittsburg, California

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Prior experience collaborating with Occupational Therapists in a school environment preferred
- Familiarity with student documentation and progress tracking
- Ability to engage students in therapeutic activities, both in-person and while assisting virtual OT services
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to work part-time, approximately 5 hours per week
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Implement individualized occupational therapy plans developed by the virtual OT
- Support students’ access to the curriculum and participation in school routines
- Utilize creative approaches to engage students and enhance their functional skills
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and student progress
- Communicate regularly with the supervising virtual OT, educators, and families
- Adapt support strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner
