Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Anaheim, CA

In this part-time role (25 hours per week), you will work within a supportive school setting, providing critical services to students across multiple campuses. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California COTA license required
- Proven experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and serve multiple schools
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Adaptability to meet the unique needs of students from diverse backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and related service providers to implement student-specific interventions
- Accurately document sessions and maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Provide recommendations and training for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
- Engage students of varying ages and abilities to help them achieve their educational goals
