Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Arlington Heights, IL

In your role, you’ll deliver occupational therapy services in line with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, support learners in self-contained autism programs, and collaborate closely with educators and therapy professionals. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Certified by, or eligible for certification by, the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association (COTA)
- State of Illinois Occupational Therapist License required
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Availability to work 21–28 hours per week onsite
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to assigned students according to IEP requirements
- Partner with special education and classroom teams to design and implement interventions
- Foster student independence, access to curriculum, and engagement in daily school routines
- Accurately document treatment, progress, and communications as required
