School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Gurnee, Illinois
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity serving elementary-aged students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. In this onsite position, you’ll work 21–28 hours per week across 3–4 days, focusing on helping students thrive in their school environment. What You’ll Need:
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant training program
- Hold or qualify for Illinois COTA licensure/certification
- Experience with pediatrics or in a school-based setting is preferred
- Ability to deliver services in alignment with students’ IEPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite occupational therapy support to elementary students
- Work closely with special education teams and teaching staff
- Facilitate students’ participation in self-contained autism classrooms
