Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Current COTA certification, with all required state credentials
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes, data collection, and progress reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload efficiently and adapt to the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to elementary students under the supervision of an OT
- Assist with evaluation processes and contribute to treatment planning
- Implement therapeutic interventions in classroom, group, and individual settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of goals, session notes, and progress
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP objectives
- Communicate progress and strategies to staff and caregivers
