Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - New Caney, TX

The role begins as soon as possible and continues through late May, 2027, offering a stable and rewarding commitment. Your schedule will consist of two days per week, totaling 15 hours weekly, allowing for both impactful work and flexibility in your routine.
Qualifications:
- Current COTA certification, required
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, educators, and other team members
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to evolving student needs
- Familiarity with providing therapy services as part of IEP teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document progress and adapt strategies to maximize student engagement and development
- Participate in assessments, goal-setting, and collaborative meetings with staff and families
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support inclusive education by promoting access and participation for all students
