What We’re Looking For:
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to effectively support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Passion for helping students develop functional and daily living skills
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside OTs and educational staff to provide direct therapy services to students
- Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of treatment interventions
- Support students in achieving goals outlined in IEPs
- Monitor progress, record data, and maintain accurate documentation
- Adjust therapy techniques based on student response and feedback from the educational team
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
