You’ll work closely alongside two talented virtual Occupational Therapists, collaborating to delivery therapy services that support academic success and daily living skills for a diverse caseload from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active COTA license recognized in Virginia
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable managing a full K-12 caseload
- Adaptive, positive attitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with virtual partners and onsite school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions as defined by the students’ Individualized Education Programs
- Collaborate with virtual OTs to discuss treatment plans and student progress
- Document therapy sessions and track student outcomes
- Engage students with creative, age-appropriate therapeutic activities
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Help foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
