Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid COTA certification and licensure in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Proficiency supporting K-12 student caseloads with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs.
- Comfortable collaborating with virtual team members.
- Effective communication, documentation, and intervention skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision for a diverse K-12 student population.
- Support students’ participation in educational activities, helping to foster independence and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
- Contribute to evaluation processes and recommend adaptive tools or classroom strategies.
