What you’ll need to succeed:
- Valid Virginia COTA license in good standing
- Previous experience working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

- Passion for facilitating growth and independence in school-aged children
Key responsibilities in this role:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a select number of students as prescribed in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with supervising therapists, teachers, and other educational staff to reinforce therapy goals and integrate interventions into daily school activities
- Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in team meetings as required
- Adapt therapy exercises and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student, creating an engaging and supportive session
- Advocate for the ongoing needs and goals of your students within the educational setting
