Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Maryland license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Experience or strong interest in supporting students across K–12 settings
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to each student’s educational plan
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to promote student success
- Document student progress and prepare necessary reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to address students’ functional, academic, and social needs
- Support students’ participation in classroom activities and daily routines
- Communicate regularly with families and school staff regarding student goals and progress
