Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Maryland COTA license required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT in both individual and group settings
- Support students’ functional participation and independence within the classroom and school activities
- Develop and implement individualized plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Track student progress and assist in assessing treatment effectiveness
- Maintain timely and accurate records for compliance and reporting
- Partner with teachers and staff to facilitate interventions and promote student access to curriculum
