You’ll play a vital role within an interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively to enhance the learning environment for children ranging from kindergarten through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across a diverse K-12 caseload
- Support student participation in classroom routines and school-related activities
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other support staff
- Document student progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt activities and provide intervention under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Engage with families and educators to develop strategies that foster student success
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current Maryland COTA licensure
- Previous experience within school settings preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability to address the dynamic needs of students at various grade levels
- Ability to work onsite and commit to a full-time schedule throughout the academic year
