Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Maryland COTA license required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP systems and documentation procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to an itinerant schedule
- Dedication to helping students achieve their highest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of an OT
- Support students in developing daily living, sensory, and motor skills within classroom and therapy settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs and therapy progress
- Collaborate with educators and families to implement student support strategies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
- Travel between assigned schools with mileage reimbursement
