Desired Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Maryland
- Previous experience in school-based and/or healthcare OT settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP documentation; training on district systems provided
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising OTs and school staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs and treatment plans
- Collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapists, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Travel to assigned schools as needed (itinerant assignment; paid travel provided)
- Document services and progress within the district’s chosen IEP system
- Participate in team meetings and utilize provided admin time for planning and reporting
