Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active COTA certification, and valid state licensure.
- Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred.
- Passion for pediatric care, especially with adolescents and teens.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a diverse educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Support students’ independence and participation in school activities through creative, evidence-based strategies.
- Document therapy sessions and student progress according to school protocols.
- Participate in IEP meetings, helping to develop and modify plans to support individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure student success.
- Maintain a professional, compassionate attitude at all times.
