Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Battle Ground, WA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working within a K-12 educational environment
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with district OTs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for student, staff, and parent engagement
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet student needs across a diverse school population
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly assist in delivering occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of district OTs
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect data and document student progress according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Engage in periodic meetings with the OT team and other educational staff
- Design engaging activities and exercises tailored to student goals
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
