Qualifications & Credentials:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Illinois COTA licensure required
- Experience with pediatric, school-based, or healthcare-related occupational therapy assistance preferred
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in both individual and group settings
- Support implementation of treatment plans created by the occupational therapist
- Document student progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with teachers and team members
- Adapt therapeutic activities to meet the diverse needs of your student caseload
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to help students improve their physical, sensory, and self-care skills within the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations as needed
