Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification and licensure as a COTA
- School-based or pediatric therapy experience highly preferred
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans in alignment with student IEPs and school goals
- Willingness to work full-time hours within the school setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OTR
- Support students in developing fine motor, daily living, sensory, and classroom participation skills
- Document progress and communicate regularly with teachers, families, and therapy team
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed, sharing insights and progress to guide student plans
- Flexibly transition to support temporary coverage needs, such as maternity leaves, as opportunities arise
- Maintain compliance with school, district, and legal policies related to therapy services
