We are seeking a dedicated and professional Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an immediate opening in a school-based setting in Port Orchard, WA. This contract position runs through the end of the academic year, offering a stable and rewarding schedule within a highly supportive student services team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborative Support: Work directly alongside district High School Occupational Therapists (OTs) to implement specialized student care plans.
• Student Interventions: Guide high school students through therapeutic activities designed to enhance motor skills, classroom coordination, and independent functional abilities.
• Progress Tracking: Document student progress and coordinate with educational staff to optimize developmental milestones.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Licensure: Active and valid Washington State COTA License.
• Background Clearance: Completed fingerprinting process through the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
• Skills: Strong collaborative skills and an interest in working within a high school educational environment.
