You’ll support approximately 36 students per caseload, collaborating with occupational therapists and school staff to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment.
What You'll Need:
- Current COTA certification in Washington or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working with children, especially within school settings, is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and compassion for diverse student populations
Your Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy programs developed by supervising occupational therapists
- Assist students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living functions within the school environment
- Document student progress and communicate updates to school staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and student support teams
