Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA certification required
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to fit individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Contribute to developing and implementing therapy plans that target fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collect, record, and report data on student progress
- Assist in modifying classroom materials and strategies to increase student participation
- Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain compliance with school policies and relevant regulatory standards
