You'll work closely with students from Pre-K through age 22, delivering direct therapy services and collaborating with multidisciplinary educators and therapists.
Key Qualifications:
- Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Current Illinois COTA licensure
- Previous experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a school team and adapt to varying student needs
- Willingness to travel between assigned school locations throughout the district
- Ability to complete fingerprinting and meet all credentialing requirements promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, adapting interventions to meet students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support student participation in school activities and functional skill development
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to monitor progress and modify strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation on student progress and interventions
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate varied school start and end times
This contract runs through the entire school year, with regular hours between 35–37.5 per week based on site assignments and school schedules.
