Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA certification in the state
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Ability to follow therapy plans developed by an Occupational Therapist
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support students with fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and document student progress
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of therapy materials and equipment
- Participate in student assessments and data collection
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
- Adhere to all school and district policies and maintain confidentiality
