Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License in Illinois
- School-based COTA experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with supervising OT and school teams
- Organizational skills to manage service documentation and quarterly minute writing
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 31 students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Work directly under the supervision of an on-site Occupational Therapist
- Document sessions and progress notes promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements
- Develop therapeutic activities tailored to student IEPs, promoting participation and engagement
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Help monitor and adapt strategies as students’ needs evolve throughout the school year
Schedule & Details:
- Start date: January 4, 2027 | End date: May 21, 2027
- 24 hours per week, spread over three days (Monday, Tuesday, plus one day of your choosing)
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $40 with weekly direct deposit
