Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress clearly
- Adaptability and creativity in delivering therapy in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as assigned
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of therapy programs under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
- Document student progress and help adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the school
