You will work near Citrus Heights, CA, for the 2026-2027 school year, providing assistance and therapeutic support to students with varying needs. The position is scheduled for 15 hours per week, spread across three days—allowing for meaningful work-life balance while making a difference.
Qualifications:
- Current and active CA COTA license required
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OT
- Commitment to supporting students’ independence and participation in school activities
Responsibilities:
- Work with students individually or in small groups to implement therapeutic interventions
- Assist in developing and following treatment plans designed by an Occupational Therapist
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Adapt learning materials and environments to support students’ access and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions as needed
This contract role begins in August 2026 and runs through June 2027.
