- Minimum of one year of recent experience, ideally within a school or pediatric environment
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Commitment to continuing education credits and ongoing professional development as required by state and district
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Deliver and adapt therapy activities to meet students’ individual needs
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress, collaborating with the OT for effective plan adjustments
- Foster communication with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure holistic support for each student
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, adhering to all relevant regulations
- Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of current practices
