Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Rosamond, CA

As a valued COTA, you’ll work Monday through Friday, providing vital assistance to students and collaborating closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and other staff. Help tailor interventions that foster student success, and enjoy a consistent schedule of 30+ hours each week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active COTA certification and licensure for practice in California
- Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student goals
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the occupational therapist in developing and implementing individualized plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate updates to the larger team
- Support teachers by providing strategies and adaptations in the classroom setting
- Participate in team meetings, contributing your insights and expertise
