Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school-based team in Corona, CA.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a COTA looking for a full-time school-based position where you can work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and directly support students in reaching their goals.
What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy support to students under the direction and supervision of OTs.
- Assist Occupational Therapists with upcoming student assessments.
- Support students with individualized occupational therapy goals and activities.
- Help implement therapeutic strategies and interventions.
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the OT and school team.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and follow school and district procedures.
📋 Position Details
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Start: ASAP
- End Date: June 4, 2027
- Assignment: 1 school
- Student population/disabilities: To be determined based on assignment
- School site: Assigned after the interview process
- The district will make an effort to take the candidate's location into consideration when determining the school assignment.
Qualifications
- Active California COTA License required
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
- Passion for supporting students and helping them reach their full potential.
